The next-generation Charger is expected to be released over the next couple of years. Before the current chapter comes to an end, Dodge pays tribute to the legendary model with the commemorative “Last Call” plaques under the hood. Popular colors from the predecessor have been carried over, including Sublime Green, Plum Crazy, and B5 Blue. In the R/T models, Charger gets a “345” badge on the front fender, which is also a callback to the excellence of the Hemi V-8 engine under the long, vented hood.
Dodge has packaged the base 2023 Charger with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 300 horsepower. Higher-end models house 5.7-liter and 6.4-liter V-8 variants, while the range-topping supercharged 6.2-liter engine powers the SRT trim. All these engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel drive. Interestingly, the V-6 powertrain gets optional all-wheel drive.
