Shopping for a minivan and confused by the fact that the Chrysler brand has three different models? We’re here to clear up any confusion or questions you might have as to what exactly the difference is between the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid & Voyager models. We will say one thing that is immediately clear. For a segment with so few competitors left, Chrysler has to be considered one of the best at building minivans considering their dedication to providing three different models to customers.
The first thing we need to look at is the difference between the two nameplates, as the difference between these two and Pacifica Hybrid are a little more obvious just from the name. A good way to look at the difference between the Voyager and the Pacifica is that the Voyager is essentially the entry-level minivan, while the Pacific is the upper end. The Voyager is available in two trim levels: L and LX. The Pacifica? Touring, Touring L, Limited AWD and Pinnacle AWD. Looking at the trims alone should make their differences a little more obvious.
The Pacific is, then, the premium minivan on the lineup. It offers more standard features and technologies than the Voyager, accompanied by an increase in price tag. Outside of this difference, there aren’t too many other things to set apart the Voyager and Pacifica. They’re the same size inside and out, they have a nearly identical design, and so on.
Naturally, the Pacifica Hybrid difference should be a bit more obvious. Available in Touring, Touring L, Limited and Pinnacle trim levels, the Pacifica Hybrid features a hybrid powertrain that makes it more fuel efficient than the traditional Pacifica and the entry-level Voyager.
